This is a table that I built with togos at workshop 1. I wanted it to be large and allow me to possibly hang things off of the sides of it. The design is a modified version of a table I saw online, I will try to find it when I have time to make a few posts about it. It is basically just a fancy table to keep my modem, router, printer, and crypto computer on. It was made with gridbeam. Togos really likes gridbeam. I wanted that reddish color at the time, togos did some extreme trials of several different types of finish, maybe in the future I'll post his records of this if he has any. My first post should probably be all of the pictures I have of it. i'll post updates when I make any changes to it or reorganize or move it as well.
During the floor painting project of 2023, the network table was temporarily emptied and moved to the kitchen. In September of 2023, i moved it back, and pretty much put everything back. This time though, i got a new tool kit from harbor freight which made the top of the table a lot cleaner. On the bottom I reduced the # of gpus on the mining rig to 2 because the gpus are outdated, I also took the better of the two power supplies and used it to build my new main pc. The crypto computer could still be used to mine some things if i had better gpus, but the crypto market is destroyed now, and i learned that investing is the better way to go anyway, though it is nice to understand basic mining. I still use it for the trezor wallet, of course that could be hooked up to any computer, but it's kind of nice to have a separate, sort of crypto themed computer to use as a glorified wallet, even though i wouldn't make one again with what i know today. Anyway, with the gpus gone, there is more space, and i use that space to store sbcs, microcontrollers, and the better electronic components i have. Not like wires, tape, and other common stuff, but the more expensive main boards or more unique components i might use. With the new tool kit, i also tightened the screws of the table a little, and it's now slightly less wobbly. I still need to add a gallery with all the pictures i have of this table to this page.
